There are numerous rules and regulations affecting air fares and particularly discounted airfares, which involve substantial cancellation or amendment fees, and in some instances there are no refunds whatsoever on cancelled air tickets should you need to amend or cancel your travel plans. If you have any queries regarding these fees please do not hesitate to contact our office. You must read the rules and check the conditions applicable to every airfare and ensure that you accept those rules and conditions before you make an Online Travel Booking. If the rules and conditions are not displayed you should contact our office. Once you confirm an Online Travel Booking and make payment you are bound by the rules and conditions applicable stated by the relevant supplier(s).
These Terms and Conditions apply generally to all the products sold by Business Jet Travel through an Online Travel Booking. Some travel related services also have special conditions applying to them, including the Cruise and Cruise Package Conditions outlined in Schedule 1. Airlines, hotels, car hire, tour operators, cruise lines and other travel suppliers have various other terms and conditions relating to the purchase of these goods and services, some of which may involve substantial cancellation or amendment fees, and in some instances there may be no refunds whatsoever on cancelled travel related services should you need to amend or cancel your travel plans. Some of those terms will be displayed in the rules applicable to a particular product, but not all. For example, travel suppliers often limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage, however we do not have those conditions to display. It is your responsibility to check those terms and conditions before making an Online Travel Booking through Business Jet Travel.
Please note if you are a frequent flyer member or part of a loyalty program of a travel supplier, you should retain your air ticket and boarding pass or any other documentary requirements to evidence point eligibility as Business Jet Travel will not obtain copies of your air ticket at any future date. Business Jet Travel does not accept liability for point’s accrual or missing points. It is your responsibility to be familiar with the loyalty program of each airline with which you are an enrolled member.
The details and timings for all sectors and other items shown on your itinerary and or ticket are subject to change. Therefore Business Jet Travel recommends that you reconfirm all reservations with the applicable airline or travel supplier at least 72 hours before departure or redemption. Business Jet Travel does not accept responsibility for amended flight timings or flight numbers, or any other amendment made, or delays by any travel supplier.
You are responsible for determining and obtaining proper documentation such as passport, visa and health requirements and all other relevant documentation and arrangements. The final responsibility for ensuring all documentation is correct and complete and all other requirements are satisfied rests with the individual traveller.
You should enquire about local issues and conditions at overseas destinations prior to travel. Business Jet Travel Services makes no representations as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. Travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including local governments, local consular offices and the website of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade at www.smartraveller.gov.au
All airlines require the production of photo identification when checking in with an e-ticket. Your identification must match with the name of the passenger on the ticket or travel documentation. Presentation of photo identification may also be required for car hire, accommodation and other travel related services.
All individuals departing from Australia must be in possession of a valid passport. Business Jet Travel requires the passport number, country of issue, passport expiry date, date of birth and gender of each traveller. If your passport is due to expire within six months of your return arrival back in Australia then under normal circumstances you should obtain a new passport. Should you be travelling on a travel document other than an Australian Passport you may require a visa or permit to re-enter Australia.
Certain countries require a visa for entry prior to arrival. Please ensure you are fully informed of the requirements before you make a reservation as visas can take some time to obtain. The consulate or representative office of the relevant country will be able to advise requirements.
Vaccinations are strongly recommended for certain destinations. We recommend that you contact your doctor or other health professional for travel health advice and vaccinations. Ideally, health requirements should be attended to at least two months prior to departure. If travelling with medication, you must carry a letter from your doctor explaining your medical condition and the required medication.
Business Jet Travel reserves the right to vary published rates in the event of changes in exchange rates or price rises made by wholesalers or other suppliers. If the cost of any service increases due to exchange rate fluctuations, price increases, tax changes or any other reason, you must pay the increase when notified. Business Jet Travel is not liable in any way if any increase occurs. All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.

Acknowledgment of your Online Travel Booking will be made via email and will include your Online Travel Booking reference ("Booking Reference"). It is essential that you enter details of each traveller correctly and according to passport or other travel identification. Suppliers will deny carriage if the traveller's name varies and your booking may be cancelled automatically if the traveller's name is amended. Business Jet Travel accept no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from incorrect entry of traveller's name and any inability to travel as a result of carrier's policies. Each individual airline has their own policy regarding name changes and applicable fees. Federal law now stipulates passport name must match with travel tickets and documentation for all forms of air travel.
Please note, in the event of a booking amendment or cancellation, Business Jet Travel reserve the right to apply the following service fees and conditions in addition to any charges assessed by the relevant airline and or supplier.
Business Jet Travel does not permit fictitious or duplicate reservations. If Business Jet Travel establishes or has reason to suspect that an individual user has submitted and confirmed multiple identical bookings, we reserve the right to cancel one or all of the reservations immediately and without reference to the customer.
Photographs and illustrations and other promotional material are for promotional purposes only. They do not represent any benefit that will be included in any arrangements made by you.
It is up to the traveller to determine whether they need travel insurance or to assess the adequacy of any existing insurance(s). You may wish to obtain professional advice from your insurance company or insurance broker.
Unless specified otherwise, all rates and prices are quoted in Australian dollars.
In the unlikely event Business Jet Travel is unable to meet your requirements through our normal booking process; we will let you know within 48 hours. If you wish us to continue with the Online Travel Booking, any additional costs as notified to you, such as telephone and other communication expenses, courier charges, any associated bank costs for urgent remittance of funds, etc. will be payable by you, the customer.
All prices quoted for travel wholly within Australia include Australian GST.
31.1 Payment for Online Travel Bookings may be made via all major credit cards or through a pre agreed and approved corporate credit account. Full payment is required at the time of making the Online Travel Booking.
31.2 Business Jet Travel does not accept airmiles, points or any other credits or rewards offered in the industry, for part or complete payment.
You acknowledge that Business Jet Travel may receive commissions from travel service suppliers Online Travel Bookings made through this website.
Any dispute concerning services received with respect to any Online Travel Booking shall be settled between you and the merchant and/or travel services supplier. Business Jet Travel bears no responsibility for resolving such disputes, or for the dispute itself.
Business Jet Travel reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of user behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in, and use of, the various areas of the website and to inform advertisers and or suppliers of such information as well as the number of users that have been exposed to or clicked on their advertising banners. Such analysis and any associated data from these analyses used by Business Jet Travel or provided to third parties will be in aggregated form only. Business Jet Travel will not provide any individual or personally identifiable information.
In addition to the information collected by us when you browse the Online Travel Booking Site, as noted in our Privacy Statement, the Site permits third party advertising cookies to be served to your computer for the purpose of serving interest-based advertising. These cookies are used by our third party advertising providers (such as DoubleClick) to track your browsing activity across the Online Travel Booking Site as well as across other websites that have partnered with those advertising providers. If you have a special request for anything that is not automatically part of the travel arrangements you book through us, please advise us when you book and we will pass this information on to the companies we work with. Our note of your request on your invoice/receipt confirms we have received it, but does not guarantee that we, or the relevant supplier, can meet with your request. Where possible they will try to help you, but we cannot guarantee any request unless it is noted on your invoice/receipt and we also confirm the request separately in writing. We must emphasise that verbal confirmations of special requests cannot be taken as a guarantee that they will be met e.g. special meal types on flights, or hotel room or Cruise Ship state room number requests. We will not pay compensation for failing to meet a special request that we have not confirmed separately in writing.
9.1. Services and goods provided during the holiday, service charges and any port or airport charges and taxes which are not included in the confirmed holiday price must be paid by you. Where services or goods are provided on board the Cruise Ship, payment must be made before you disembark. Without prejudice to any lien over your goods, you agree that the Cruise operator shall be entitled to prevent any baggage or goods belonging to or travelling with you from leaving the Cruise Ship until all sums owed to the Cruise operator have been paid in full.
9.2. Service charges and gratuities vary between Cruise operators. Service charges and gratuities are generally applied in recognition of the service you receive on board from all members of the crew, in a variety of locations. Some Cruise operators may require payment of service charges or gratuities in advance of travel. In some cases these service charges or tips will be payable at the time of booking and shown on your confirmation invoice, in other cases they will automatically be added to your on-board Cruise Ship account.
